I just barely got mine wearable for D*C 2010. Only by sewing most of Thursday and Friday at the con did I get this far...

I'll be fixing it and fixing the issues with cpt_antilles maroon monster over the months between the wedding and April. I seriously thought this costume would break me. These patterns are awful... but in the end this photo makes me excited ( Read more... )

Sew on side of sleeves together, check to make sure you have a right and a left. (Mark them!!!)

The neck pattern piece is sometimes not quite long enough by the time you quilt and get it on the shirt. Lengthen by 1 inch. When quilting neck and arms stitch each line down twice for a more pronounced groove ( Read more... )

Been watching Star Trek: the Next Generation this week, I randomly started in the midst of season 4.

I'd forgotten how much I loved this show....except for the second season.

 just watched the new trek movie trailer...(official site)

I've almost gone from WTF are they doing to this franchise (resurrecting TOS now?)...to I might actually have to see that.

I'm still not happy but I fully admit if I do see it it needs to be in the theater. It also is good to see something that wasn't bludgeoned into  Rick Berman's world ( Read more... )
